The qualified guide will tell the incredible history and legends around these historical places. At the end you will reach Rialto Bride and its markets area, once it was the commercial center of the Venetian Republic.
After the walking tour you will start the guided visit inside the imposing Doge’s Palace: seat of the Venetian power for centuries, here the Doges and the highest politicians decided the fate of the Venetian empire. Be delight yourself in the breathtaking artistic masterpieces realized by the most famous artists of history. Cross the Bridge of Sighs and admire Venice from a unique perspective: the one of the prisoners while descended in the dark and cold prisons. You will see also the jails that Giacomo Casanova incredibly succeeded to escape from!
After the tour you can participate to a free and optional visit to a glass factory close to Saint Mark’s Square, where you can see a craftsman realizing some items by the glass-blowing techniques. Please note this is an optional, free tour lasting approximately 20 minutes. E

- Duration: 2.30 hours (20 minutes more for demostration in Saint Mark’s Square)
- Languages: from April to October: English, French, German and Spanish every day – Italian only on Saturday. The visit is monolingual.
From November to March: English from Every day – German on Monday and Friday – French on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – Spanish on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The visit could be bilingual.
