Enjoy Venice in all its splendor with guided tour of the city center and the St. Mark’s Basilica and then jump on a gondola!

The experience starts with a morning walking tour in St. Mark’s Square where the guide will explain the main historical Skip the line: The Golden Basilica - - 4monuments: Doge Palace, The Golden Basilica, Bell-tower, Clock Tower and the “Procuratie Nuove”! Then the tour proceeds through  the labyrinth of “calli” (venetian narrow streets) and you will find out some of the most famous venetian attraciotns or Square as Santa Maria Formosa square, the Teatro Malibran, the Basilica di San Giovanni e Paolo, known as the Venetian Pantheon and the celebrated  “Mercerie” (shopping street). Rialto Bridge with its traditional markets  is the last stop, you can see the its traditional markets.

At the end of the walking tour you will enjoy a relaxing gondola ride along the Gran Canal and the most picturesque and romantic waterways, along the itinerary you will see the Theatre Fenix, Mozart’s House, Santa Maria della Salute Church, the breataking St.Mark’s Basin and much more!

After the gondola ride you will visit the breathtaking St. Mark’s Basilica! You will enjoy a full guided visit of this masterpiece of byzantine art, unique of its kind in Italy, you’ll have the pleasure to cherish the stunning gold mosaics and marble inlays of the floors, sitting comfortably while the guide will show you the represented biblical scenes, the history and the particularities of this ancient basilica. Admire The Pala d’oro, exquisite example of the byzantine art with its thousands of gems and precious stones.

At the end of your experience you will have the opportunity to do the free optional tour the Glass Craftsman Demonstration visiting a Glass Factory very close to Saint Mark’s square (20 minutes tour). Please follow the instruction that our staff will provide to you locally.

  • Timetable: From Monday to Saturday at 9:00 AM (please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time).
    Languages: from April to October: English, French, German, Spanish from Monday to Saturday. Italian: only on Saturday. The visit is monolingual.
    From November to March: English from Monday to Saturday – German on Monday and Friday – French on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – Spanish on Wednesday and Saturday. The visit could be bilingual.

Know before to go

Tour does not operate in in cases of exceptionally bad weather or exceptional high tide or in case of special religious functions (in these cases it can be postponed the day after otherwise it will be refunded).
The tour is not private but is shared with other guests not belonging to the same party
For the visit of the Basilica suitable clothing is required (no shorts)
For security reasons sacks, bags or knapsacks are not allowed inside the Basilica: Prior to your visit you must deposit them at the Ateneo San Basso (St. Mark's Square, Calle San Basso). The storage service is free of charge but please allow sufficient time!
Each gondola can seat a maximum of 6 people. The seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending on guest weight
This tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities
The visit could be bilingual. No commentary on the gondola ride

Meeting point

St. Mark's Square- Clocktower near exchange office (the white building with the blue clock facade). The assistant will wait for you with the sign "Tour". Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time.
